Ford Endeavour Hurricane Edition 4×4 launched at a price tag of Rs. 20.13 lakh

To add some cheer to this festive season, Ford India has unwrapped a limited edition model of it's flagship product, the Ford Endeavour SUV. Dubbed the Hurricane, the limited edition model sits right at the top of the Endeavour range and is priced at INR 20.13 Lakhs, ex-showroom Delhi, which is about INR 40 thousand over the top end 4X4 model. For the extra money, the Ford Endeavour SUV brings in four new features to the table. The Endeavour Hurricane SUV's four new features include a new muscular Front Nudge bar and no, you're supposed to be nudging anyone with this particular feature even though the brute good looks and the imposing stance o the Endeavour might make you feel like the king of the road and a convex mirror mounted on the hatch door to help you judge the size of the Endeavour especially while parking. This is perhaps the only feature that is a useful one in the list of changes in the limited edition Endeavour. The other two changes, the "Hurricane" graphics plastered over the flanks of the SUV and a chrome tipped exhaust, are out and out visual bits which will make the Endeavour stand out from its lesser speced variants. On the insides, everything remains same including the roomy seven seat configuration and the touch screen based entertainment module on the dashboard. The 3 liter common rail, turbodiesel engine producing 156 Bhp of peak power and 380 Nm of peak torque is retained as it is and so is the five speed automatic transmission. The Ford Endeavour Hurricane SUV comes with four wheel drive as standard piece of kit. All in all, the Ford Endeavour Hurricane SUV, like Ford India suggests is a limited edition model which brings in a few additional features to justify the limited edition badging. Other than this, the SUV is a very good alternate to the Toyota Fortuner, especially for those who want an imposing SUV but with the option of an automatic transmission.
