2012 Peugeot 4008; To be showcased at Geneva 2012
| Peugeot has unveiled the new 2012 4008 SUV, the successor to the 4007 model.The 4008 will be offered with three drive modes: 2×4, 4×4, and LOCK which is permanent all-wheel drive. To be presented as a world premiere at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, 4008 will go on sale initially in international markets from 2012 second quarter. Carrying the typical Peugeot design with gallant and athletic DNA. Peugeot 4008 has a length of 30 cm shorter than the Peugeot 4007, but still put forward in roomy interior. Behind the front bonnet will be mounted 1.6-liter gasoline engine capable of producing power 116 hp and 152 Nm. In gasoline-powered 2.0-liter 150 hp to 198 Nm. Both engines are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. There is also a 1.6-liter diesel version (112 hp/270-280 Nm) and 1.8 liter (150 hp/300 Nm) with 6-speed manual transmission.
