Ariel Atom 3 launched in India at a starting price of Rs. 55 lakh
| No doors, no roof and no compromise when it comes to performance; this is the Ariel Atom summed up. For those of you who haven’t heard of the Atom before (if you do exist that is), the Ariel Atom does the 0-100 run in just 2.8 seconds and has a top speed of 250kmph. And all this at a price tag of Rs. 55 lakh. Need we say more ? Interglobe Limited has been appointed as the official distributors of the Ariel range of sportscars in India. The models of Atom that will be available in India include the 245 bhp and 300 bhp variants of Ariel Atom 3. The 245 bhp base variant is priced at Rs. 55 lakh while the 30 bhp top end variant of the Ariel Atom 3 has been priced at Rs. 85 lakh.
The Ariel Atom 3 features a 2 liter Honda i-VTEC petrol engine in naturally aspirated and supercharged guises. The naturally aspirated version produces 245 bhp of peak power at 8,200 rpm and 210 Nm of peak torque at 6,100 rpm while the supercharged version produces 300 bhp of peak power for a similar torque output. “India is fascinated by fast cars, and the Atom gives us a unique chance to provide a distinguished product.
