Kolkata to North India road trip - guidance needed
My wife and I are planning a trip by car this December. Our planned route is Kolkata - Bodhgaya (2 nights) - Kanpur (night halt) - Delhi (3 nights) - Dehradun (3 nights) - Chandigarh (2 nights) - Jaipur (3 nights) - Agra (2 nights) - Varanasi (night halt) - Kolkata. We will be taking our i10 Asta Automatic - 9,000 KM on the clock - just after 3rd service. No driver - we shall be driving. We are planning to start early on every leg, drive maximum 500 KM in a day, and stop by 3 pm latest. We are planning to buy a mapmyindia GPS set Model No Zx150 or S650 with reverse parking camera added. I need advice on : - Should I buy mapmyIndia (if so, which model ?) or some other brand / - State of the road on our planned route, and any stretch which may be problematic and/or should be avoided. - Any Bypasses around towns/cities on the various stretches and how to take them - Any other info that may be useful. Thanks in advance !! |
