RIP - Cartoonist Mario Miranda
| Noted cartoonist Mario Miranda dies at the age of 85. His cartoons comes to my mind now. Many of his cartoon characters and Goa & Bombay street scenes in the Illustrated weekly were still fresh in memory Long live his memories. The 85-year-old Miranda, who drew Goa for the world and drew the world for readers in India, died in his sleep at his home in Goa. He had been ailing for the last few years. |
