Nissan X-Trail Special Edition launched in India at a price tag of Rs. 22.78 lakh

Nissan X-Trail Special Edition launched in India at a price tag of Rs. 22.78 lakh

Nissan India has just unveiled a new limited edition X-Trail in India, in celebration of its new adventure reality show ‘X-treme Trail’, that will be aired on the National Geographic channel. This program will highlight the off road capabilities of the X-Trail taking the Nissan X-Trail all the way from Jaisalmer in Rajasthan to Siachen in Ladakh..

The Nissan X-Trail is Nissan’s first offering in the Indian market, and despite being a decent vehicle, has fared poorly in sales mainly due to the fact that the X-Trail arrives straight from Japan as a completely built unit, unlike its competitors which are assembled in India from completely knocked down kits(CKDs).

The Special Edition Nissan X-Trail will be offering 10 additional features such as touchscreen GPS, a rear spoiler, door visors along with X-treme Trail decals and few other upgrades. Under the hood of the limited edition X-Trail will be the same 2.0-litre M9R diesel engine producing 150 Bhp of peak power and 320 Nm of peak torque. The Limited Edition X-Trail is priced at Rs. 22.78 lakh.
