Fiat Palio SDX Multijet
| Hi, Expert advice appreciated... My Fiat Palio SDX (2007) has run 25,000 kms as on date. Since past 3 months I'm facing a clutch problem. If don't use the car for 3-4 days the gear simply doesn't shift, it acts too rigid. Try using the reverse gear, a creaking noice is heard. Astonishingly if I switch the ignition off, all gears shift perfectly. The problem disappers if I switch on the car for 10-15 minutes and take her for a descent drive. Same problem again after 3-4 days of idle period. What could be the root cause? Is the clutch drum worn out? Thanks in advance. |
