Bangalore to Kashmir- March 2012
| Calling out to BHPians for help. I am planning to travel to kashmir from bangalore in Feb/ March 2012. Is it a suitable time to travel to kashmir? Travel period will either be in 2nd week of february or 2nd week of march.We will be coming in to Jammu from Amritsar. Planning to cover jammu, patnitop, anantnag, gulmarg, pahalgam, srinagar and sonemarg. We are a family of four adults, and I need recommendations for must see places, Good restaurants(serving vegetarian food), hotels, and most importantly taxi operators. Any information will be of great help, since parents are a little apprehensive of safety and political situation in Kashmir. Need to book flights in a couple of weeks, Please keep your opinions coming. We need to look for an alternative in case kashmir is not feasible. |
