Porsche Bangalore centre @ Lavelle Road
| Porsche launched their 7th centre in the country yesterday at Lavelle road, Bangalore. I was lucky to be at the venue for this and following were the highlights: The Cayenne, Boxster and 911 were on display. The 911 was unveiled with much fanfare and an impressive sound and light show with projections on the car. This was followed with a jugal bandi of the 911 and boxster's engine notes (this was done quite well and I was impressed with the end results!) Accessories are also display and available for sale. This should lead to seeing more of their beautiful machines on Bangalore roads. The buzz amongst invitees was that with the condition of Bangalore roads and the infamous road bumps that abound every by-lane, the Cayenne has potential for commercial success. I couldn't agree more! I have a video of the 911 launch and will try to upload and link it later. |
